Resident Evil Zero Hour – Review

I finished Resident Evil Zero Hour today! And I have to say. IT WAS F*CKING AWESOME! Awesome from the beginning till the end. It’s crazy how reading book teaches a person to read other people. Empathy. It gives you words to describe feelings, facial expressions, gestures, just awesome. So happy I am a reader.

So this books tells us the story about Rebecca Chambers, the 18 year old S.T.A.R.S Bravo agent who got recently into the team and is precisely in her first mission here. She meets a death row condemned, Billy Coen. The book describes the journey through one of the worst days of their lives. They face zombies, spiders, leeches, and other bio-weapons, mostly the result of a mix between human and leeches into one gigantic creature.

1324881701706_fDespite being with a prisoner, and being aware of that fact, Rebecca knows they must cooperate if they want to get out of the train alive. And Billy also recognizes that he must comply with her, regardless of her intentions to lock him up. We see them in cahoots as the story develops, they ultimately nurture a kind of kinship, well, no wonder given the circumstances.

The end is pretty cool to read, so do it if you can. I already read its sequel (I didn’t know “Zero Hour” existed when I read it) and its also great. I will read all the books in the series. I personally can’t play the video-games, at least alone, so my alternatives are the books and the movies.

The next one I’m reading is, as I said in an earlier post “Little Brother”.
